Painted all prima, en plein air on a rainy day in the town of La Genevraye on the outskirts of the Forest of Fontainebleau. (48.3219479, 2.7483540)

Burts of rain came throughout the day as I was painting and I got soaked, but when the sun finally peaked through it was all worth it because it made for quite the spectacular showing of light over the church and surrounding field.
